Essential Functions:
Communicate with collaborating hospital and research staff regarding patient care, status, and protocol requirements, as well as conduct each clinical research study in accordance with International Code Harmonization (ICH)/Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)/Good Clinical Practice.
Manage clinical research studies by participating in a variety of complex activities involved in the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of clinical research data.
Monitor participants# progress, including documenting and reporting adverse events.
Assist with patient education, facilitate informed consent discussion, and administer prescribed medical treatment to study participants in accordance with the clinical research protocol.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Missions of Blessing Health Systems.
ICARE standards must be demonstrated.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/
Experience:
REQUIRED:
Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well-developed interpersonal skills; Mature judgment Ability to work effectively with others.
Experience or working knowledge of Word Processing and Excel Have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
PREFERRED:
CCRC certification required.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Possesses current State RN license.
Valid Illinois # Missouri#license for Registered Nurse CPR Certification.
Clinical Research Coordinator certification required, and renewal as specified by the credentialing institution.
If there is more than 2 years of experience in clinical research, the individual will have one year to achieve clinical research coordinator certification and maintain Pay Status:
