CM&W is looking for a 1st shift Inventory Controller at our Hannibal, MO location.
The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining adequate levels of material, hardware and consumables while minimizing excess supply and receiving in shipments into MRP system.
Pay starting at $18.
50 per hour and higher depending on experience.
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Perform critical inventory cycle counts to ensure the correct number of items are in stock at each location.
Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records through the MRP system.
Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
Receive in shipments, pull and compare packing slips to purchase orders in the MRP and count all items per the purchase orders.
Communicate any discrepancies to the appropriate department, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with the purchasing department resolve discrepancies.
Receive packing slips into the MRP system and turn in paperwork to the accounting department.
Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled.
Enter locations of received materials into MRP system.
Work with material handlers to receive in product and transfer to proper locations.
Review production schedules and requirements for timely order fulfillment.
What You'll Need:
Associates degree or relevant experience.
Experience with MRP systems.
Experience with warehouse operations.
Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
Organizational skills and detail-oriented focus.
Verbal and written communication proficiency.
Results-driven, self-starter attitude.
Problem-solving ability.
Excellent time management.
Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
