Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsements.
Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
Handle large bags of coins.
Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer.
Promote and cross-sell other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier's checks, trust and investment services.
Open new accounts as needed.
Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System.

Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Cash handling experience.
Basic computer skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
