Mechanical Repair Person A-Grade
Mining and manufacturing company located in Hannibal, MO is seeking a full-time A-Grade Mechanical Repair Person to join our team. The A-Grade Mechanical Repair Person will be responsible for trouble shooting and providing immediate predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant manufacturing equipment. We're looking for a self-starter capable of working independently with limited supervision.
Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
Inspects, repairs, replaces, installs, adjusts, troubleshoots and maintains all plant mechanical equipment in a safe and professional manner in conformance with plant rules, quality standards and company policies
Reads, follows and understands blueprints, drawings, sketches, equipment manuals and manufacturer's specifications
Uses and interprets measuring devices
Performs lifting and rigging
Performs fabrication and layout
Operates man lift
Operates machine tools including, but not limited to drill press, pipe threading machine, power saw, etc.
Performs lubrication
Completes and references hand written and electronic maintenance records
Other duties as assigned
Specific
Qualifications:
Five plus years of experience in performing mechanical repairs.
Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, piping, power transmission, compressed air and lubrication.
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking trouble shooting team player with a strong work ethic.
Can-do attitude, positive outlook
Ability to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
Professional and resourceful style
High School diploma or GED (Trade School graduate strongly preferred)
Ability to pass pre-employment screening which includes physical, background check and ten (10) panel drug screen
